The first stage of floor restoration is removal of lippage. This can only be accomplished by grinding the floor flat with an aggressive metal bond diamond disc, which these discs are designed to do. Alpha Advantage Lippage Discs consist of a group of metal bonded pellets imbedded in a resin compound that contains a sub-abrasive grit on a rigid pad. The resin compound prevents pellet loss and chipping of the stone. The sub-abrasive in the resin compound keeps the metal bonded pellets sharp for consistant performance.
